The NRM Summer Fun A4 Challenge - September 1st, 2007 hurry!

Post by dr5euss »

I've been inundated with requests to run another competition :|

The theme this time is a small diorama up to the size of a sheet of A4 paper...it can be any scale, and era or prototype and any part of the railway - an embankment, a fuelling station etc, so long as you can place the finished model on a sheet of A4.

The competition will run until September 1st, 2007, so you've got quite a bit of time to work on it.

Get modelling!

Mod edit - Thought it best to put in your end Date for the competition good luck every one!

I'll see if I can rustle something up - though I've just moved into a house so I have furniture to buy, boxes to unpack, and stuff to sort out. Plus I've not even got past this stage with my pizza:

I'm in the boxes situation - everything is packed :( apart from an open-top wagon, a coach, a Bachamnn class 20 and my track. Also a controller. And a six-pack of Walker's Steak and Onion crisps.

Heck, I'm desperate.

I've got an idea, it's more of an enthusiasm boosting mini-project, but I'll enter it for the Challenge. When does it need to be in by because I'm going on holiday soon

Update

I have cut out my baseboard and painted it :D

Whilst waiting for it to dry, I did a little mock up of the track plan and buildings 8)

Feeling pleased with myself – I actually expect to get this finished

Having just re-read the title description, I presume this has to be railway related, non?

That kind of smashes my build to pieces, or does it? I was intending to have a small railway line in the build though, does that count? If I don't include it (which I wasn't intending), can I still enter?
