Nice work Terrier! The station should be called Chesters or similar i think

On what "I" said, my layout has a Chiltern 168 running next to a Northern Rail 156, with countless non-existing steam trains popping up now and then!
Keep up the work mate, slow or not

I was not having a go just giving my opinion,as you said it is your layout and you can run what you like.I myself am not averse to the odd modellers Licence as on my new layout St Breward i shall be having Ark Royal in RNSE dark blue with crests when in reality it never carried them.I Apologise and should have kept what i thought to myself.

Hey chap, this is not RM Web, this is NRM, no offense taken ol bean, although i might have been a little sharp in my reply, so i also apologise. I did understand where you were coming from and i guess it was just my luck today to be a bit flush and buying some maroon Mk1s :) ...i searched about locally for Southern region Mk1s and apart from one buffet car down at Collectors Corner today, that was all there was so got some eastern region maroons instead, should go well with Union of South Africa.

Now this weekend i'll be having a go at getting things moving on the layout, still literaly tonnes to do, sacrificed buying new points and seep motors for buying the DMU, second hand and runs like dream, £60. so yep, standby chaps for updates, going to get this project moving along if it kills me LOL

You'll beat me to the finish after all!

Hmm well now will need to come up with suitable name won't we?

As a starter howabout harking back to a more innocent era and a certain red coated chap? Perhaps Bourne View or Bourne Halt (if it is one as I haven't looked for the plan!!) or similar?

Cheers GROTLAND and others there, have been making a smidgen of progress since other week, knocked up a daft vid of my 108 going over the viaduct (someday soon will have photos/vids of stuff not just involving the viaduct  )

Joshingman, took me a few days to twig!! LOL .. Bourne is a fantastic idea for a station name sir! ...Perhaps Bourne with a halt somewhere called Chard, and maybe one called Rorke's Halt  8) :D

So yep, some momentum, not as much as would have liked, but heres a daft video.

Quick play with 108 DMU

Thanks

You naughty boy!

You know you're not supposed to post gratuitous messages about 'pictures coming soon' just to draw attention to yourself!

There''ll be trouble you know!

If that Merv see's this he'll be onto you like a ton of bricks!
Where is he btw? Have seen him recently. I came across a picture of his famous 'armchair modelling' if you'd like to see it :)

Quite exquisite if you ask me 8)
