Hi

Thanks for updating this ... here are the details requested.

1. Name - Paul

2. URL to Profile http://www.newrailwaymodellers.co.uk/Fo ... ile&u=6809

3a URL to website http://www.freewebs.com/beechestmd/

b URL to fotopic http://beechestmd.fotopic.net/

4. Description

Beeches TMD is a modern image OO gauge layout. The layout uses NCE DCC and locomotives are fitted with lights and sound decoders. It is loosely set in the north west with locomotives that would serve the north Wales coast - approximately early 1990's to present.

The layout is not finished yet but not far off. A double portacabin has just been added at the front of the layout behind the footbridge (shown here). I am in the process of building a fiddle yard in preparation for taking the layout to an exhibition in the autumn. There is quite a lot of detailing to be done and lights are being added to some of the buildngs.

Hi all. I've just started out on the whole model railway thing, and have a small indoor layout in my garage. It has no specific era, as i have a variety of rolling stock and locos. I'm no serious modeller, so the whole layout was done on a budget. My website is http://homepage.ntlworld.com/w.tester/

This site is due for a big update and a serious design change with loads more images so keep visiting.

UPDATE- new website now uploaded, but with some images missing. Not sure why, but I'll get it done soon. P.S. Any ideas for the name of my layout. I'm trying to get a TV / Movie thing going on, as i have life on mars, morse and helicopter heros being filmed so far. This allows me to run what i like on my layout.
Anything we learn today, may be unlearned tomorrow

Please feel free to visit my layout pages SYVR

Hello eveyone,

1) Courtney Bonnick

3) N/A
4) The pictures below is my layout as I have said before it's not on a baseboard because there is not enough room for and my Mum won't allow me to have one but when I get my own place I plan to get one. Right now my layout is pretty bare so I am planning to get platforms for a station, getting a engine shed and goods shed.

Hi Simon. Thought I might as well post on here, as my layout looks just about reasonable enough for a photo now! :)

3.) Layout URL: http://www.newrailwaymodellers.co.uk/Fo ... php?t=9260

4.) Website URL: http://www.goathland.co.cc (Please note website is down at the moment but will be up as soon as I can find a new host... and can afford one! :P)

5.) Youtube URL: http://www.youtube.com/edwardholmes91

6.) Layout Synopsis: Goathland is a DC controlled 00-gauge layout, consisting of three main running loops and an extensive number of sidings, allowing about 7 trains to be manoeuvred without the hand of God at any one time. The layout has two stations, a through station (not modelled on anywhere in particular) and a terminus station (modelled on Goathland on the NYMR). Set in pre 1960s, I run steam locomotives, however i'm a firm believer of IMR (it's my railway) so I run what I like and when I like :P The layout measures 10' x 6', with a small cut out on one of the sides to allow for easier operation and a trapdoor in the middle allowing maintenance to be carried out on the layout when necessary. The baseboard is constructed using 2" by 2" and 2" by 1" planned pine framework and a 12mm MDF skin, topped with 4mm fine sanded cork tiles. The layout also has cab control allowing any track to be controlled by any controller, therefore achieving smooth transfer from one track to another, along with 20 electrically operated points and much planned lighting. It's by no means complete but the track-plan and picture below along with the YouTube link will hopefully help you to visualise the layout :)

Simon, if you require the actual images I can send them via email or MSN for you :)

Hello

I am replying to your request to get members information updated

Name Paul Warburton

URL for personal layout http://beechespics.webs.com/

Description of layout

Some members may remember a layout called Beeches TMD (featured in BRM and Traction magazines). This has been sold and Chesterfield is my new layout - still very much in its early stages.
Chesterfield is a modern image DCC OO gauge layout. It is controlled by NCE equipment. All of the locos are fitted with sound decoders.
The layout takes most of its inspiration from the area around Chester station but also includes ideas from Macclesfield - a mix of ideas from both. The Chester area gives the opportunity to run a wide range of rolling stock, both pasenger and freight. The era is approximately 1990s to the present day.

Pictures There is very little to show at this stage - photos to follow later.

Thank you

4.) Layout Synopsis: East Groomstead Railway is a DC controlled 00-gauge layout, consisting of two main running loops and a number of sidings. The layout has two platforms, it is set in the 1960s. I run steam locomotives. I like to run whatever steam locomotives I like (not diesels though, sorry). The layout measures 7' x 3', but I am looking to add a small section on the opposite side to the controller to add a village/town scene. The baseboard is constructed using a stripwood framework and topped with 12mm plywood, with cork under the tracks. My layout is far from complete, but whose is? The YouTube link will help you to see what the layout consists of.

Just a snippet: https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-qBTU ... 203133.jpg I will be creating a website tonight for the railway

Try uploading them to a photo hosting site such as Picasa (what I use) and then link to the image URL on here using the feature.
