Made from pvc pipe! Came across this vid on You Tube which is part 1. Incredible how he makes this loco body. Cant wait to see what electronics he puts in.

Astonishing! Some very useful tools and techniques on display as well as incredible skill. I hope he wears a mask with all that plastic dust floating around :-) .

That's a masterclass in technique. His ability to make all square and true in three axes really demonstrates his skill.

I would guess that he uses the pipe material because modelling products (such as the UK's well known 'plasticard') are expensive.

I watched with sound off, as I was listening to a recording of a friend's concert... (And I was pedalling the gen set to run the laptop, hifi and wifi, multitasking champion me!)
