Re: Wealden Model Railway Exhibition Sun 12th March
A couple of pictures I took from the exhibition.
Largarand Limeworks... Hands down the most coffee stirrers I've seen on a layout.. and put to good use too! Something I don't think I've seen before.. figures on balconies creating multi level cameos in the same building. Proof that if you just want to 'play trains' even an S or G gauge (I'm not sure which, but it was definitely bigger than 0) will fit on a table. The exhibition consisted of all small layouts that could be achieved alone or by anyone with limited space
Albeit one layout was a classic shunting puzzle.. but in 0 GAUGE!
Another difference to this exhibition was being given 2 tickets per person for entry. One with a star punched out... for a free tea or coffee!
And a good cuppa it was too.
One chap described to me how he took a 'Britains' deer and cast another for his layout using Fimo for the mould and then also using fimo in the mould to create the deer copy. All clever stuff.
Thanks
