Silly old guys playing trains.

Post by Bufferstop »

Don't be embarrassed imagining that younger adults may think of you as entering your second childhood. We were in London today for an afternoon theatre performance. Having some time to kill, we took a look around the Lego store. I'd say over 50% of the visitors were in the 20 to 40 age group and far more excited than the youngsters. If you need any further encouragement to join this hobby, read my signature line.

Only those readers under 40 might consider not reading a thread with a title like this.

We are all here, methinks.

For everyone that thinks per title, there seems to be someone else saying 'I want to do that'.

Dang! For a minute there I thought you were poking fun at my favourite YouTube channel and was all fired up to fire off a note signed "Disgusted fireman" of Bonavista! :D
Cheers, Chris

Never seen anyone 'working' a railway with an oar-cum-puntpole.

Now, a little more 'normal railway', I am sure you would love this.

In my musical activities I regularly come across plenty of silly old guys still being musicians. I guess these days I'm one of them. Well, 'musician' might be pushing it, but old an silly - yup.
