eBay Madness

Post by Richard08 »

While pottering about on eBay I've noticed some getting themselves real 'bargains'. Of particular note are Connoisseur Models kits, which often sell for more than they would cost direct from the manufacturer but today was something of a record - an MMP O gauge coaling tower kit went for £42 + post. It costs £27 form MMP. Madness.

I know what you mean. I'm not into splashing £100 plus on an diesel that will only come out for a gala day, but for £40 a clean looking Lima Class 50 is now on it's way to me.

I can't post the link as my Chromebook is in poor health and running deathly slow.
The Model Centre are currently listing the centre coach of a green Lima class 117 DMU for £80.99 on ebay.

Can buy a whole 3 car complete Lima DMU for a lot less. I see what you mean! Should be around £10.
