Afternoon,
Hopefully this isn't too stupid a question, but does anyone have experience with removing/replacing class 66 cab side windows on the bachmann models?
I don't know if the windows can be swapped, or if there would be a 'gap'
Looking to get an early 66 (3 part windows) fitted with the newer 2 part windows.
Alternatively my only alternative would be to source a Hattons 66780 or 783 and get it repainted to reflect the current condition of many of the GBRf class 66s

Re: Bachmann Class 66 Cab windows
There's no stupid question, and it's worth asking for other's experience when trying something for new, especially when you cannot find an example online.
No idea specific to the Bach 66 cab glazing, other than the adhesive is usually brittle and with care can be broken out. Careful measurement of the original frame dimensions, and the replacement glazing, all in your hands! All the best with it.
