Can't help you there, I use matt varnish so they stick fairly permanently. Although, thinking about it, there must be something like a seven year backlog in my 'to do' pile; since the plates for Hitchin's B1 61027 'Madoqua' have been waiting attachment since 2014...

Must buy a pot of matt varnish on the next model shop visitation.
