[quote="Mountain"]This is the bestest model scenery that I have ever seen! I have seen some very excellent scenery out there, but to make this water come to life like that as well is really something!
Back to your message in the quote: I gave the muses their 98% already.
They said it was not good for you nor for me to take your statement in the above quote so they insisted I should let youy see there are plenty of modellers doing much more realistic work than I do. For example in this link (just to mention one of them):
https://www.buntbahn.de/viewtopic.php?t=13540
But the muses also mentioned it has no sense comparing 'degree of realism' or any other aspect if one is not sure about the place and function a model had in the only world and context where every model belongs and could be fully appreciated: the personal development in the modeller.
To make it more clear:
If I am a retired engineer and have just completted scratchbuilding in brass an amazingly good working live steam model of a 'Virginean Triplex' in H0 scale that makes smelt the mouths of all rivetcounters and my little four years old neighbor has just gave a try building his first model scene where one barely can recognice a house as such thanks it's red roof, his model presents a much bigger step than my steaming Virginenan Triplex. Doesn't it?
That is why it has no sense at all to compare!
