Newbie to the fold

Post by lickeyjunction »

Hi all

Nice to be here. Many years after having a Duchess set, i realised a little ambition and built my son a small 5' x 3' for Christmas 2019

After realising that it didn't quite meet expectations (for me), i now have a 8' x 10' square figure of eight in the garage.

Thoroughly enjoyed getting back into this hobby. Enjoyed planning, plenty of adhoc, trial and error and raised a few questions! Still laying track and wiring, but rapidly approaching power requirements and point motors.

I'll save those for the topics, but hopefully i'm on the right track bummm tsshhh

I'll get my coat :D :D :D

Welcome! Welcome!

Always look forward to seeing new layouts starting out(Think my favourite part of modelling is starting a layout/creating a story for the setting of the layout).

Stay safe, happy modelling and looking forward to your future contributions.
