The bad news is my computer has became horribly slow. I thought a virus but is not. I called the server but it is everything o.k. with that too. I called the specialist that knows my ;lone brain cell, my computer and me and he said:
"Daniel, there is nothing wrong except the age of the computer that it is almost as old as a Comodore 64...!"

:o

The worse news is that I had big plans for my yearly holliday money by the end of May and now the plans has left and remains only some steam & smoke at the station...

Anyway I'll get that money on 20 of May 2022 so if the old beast (no, not me, the computer!) pass away before that I will get silent at least until May....

But so far it is just dancing slow, slowest, slowest...

Meanwhile things are getting in movement again at the workbenches...

You buy a few rolls of 0,4mm iron wire for making wire tree armatures...

ImageIMG_0039 (65) by Daniel Osvaldo Caso, on Flickr

You coil the wire on a toilette paper card core...

ImageIMG_0038 (76) by Daniel Osvaldo Caso, on Flickr

Why?

Because you need spoked wheels...

ImageIMG_0040 (63) by Daniel Osvaldo Caso, on Flickr

Because the plastic is less rigid that one would like, cutting exactly identical pieces goes not what one would call ideally...

Yes, at the middle the plastic cyliners have a wall so for the time being those pieces will remain in a scraps box for some other project but I only need four nice wheels so I think I'll get that...

The rest is simple...

Brilliant idea for the wheels Daniel. Now where will you find a smaller roll of wire for the smaller wheels?

I hate computers. But, I guess they are why we can converse. Sigh...

Hi Ken

Thank you.
I had made the experiment some time ago and saw it could work zo now what I've got are thes mall wheels.
Actually they are a little (not much) too big for small aones and a bit too small for the big ones. I have seen a couple of locomobiles wqith four small wheels anyway so we'll see. What I don't know is if there is any chance to get a bigger roll for cutting bigger rear wheels.
Anyway it is still an experiment so everything can happen yet.
