Dapol 142 - question

Post by Simonp »

Hi All,

I have a N gauge Dapol 142 in Arriva TW livery, but due to a total change of heart have decided to model a different era :D

Am I better off applying a new livery (RR) using transfers, or, as there is little difference in price, how difficult a job would it be to replace the bodyshells for two in RR livery?

Thanks!!!
Simon

Seems nobody can answer you.
I'd say the solutions in order of cost might be....
1. Sell and buy a new one in the 'right livery'.
2. Sell and buy second hand.
3. Look for a spares or repair on ebay and swap bodies.
These three will give you a Good Model, appearance-wise....
4. Strip and add new vinyls, if they're available.
5. Strip, repaint and apply decals, if they are available.
These depend on you're skills.
