I have the metal cast Dart Castings L44 Farm tip cart and A22 Donkey and wanted to ask about putting metal kits together as this is my first metal kit.
With plastic kits, I usually first give them a coat of grey undercoat before starting to glue them together but with metal kits should you glue them together FIRST before any painting, even if it is just an undercoat?
I will be gluing the kit together with superglue.
Thanks

Assemble first unless there are parts which cannot be reached for painting once the kit has been made. With larger kits, it may be preferable to assemble a series of sub units and then paint them individually before putting the whole together and touching up. It really depends what you are building.
