From a personal point of view I love trees, and like making houses, but that's the glory of railway
modelling, there are so many different sub-plots, Agatha Christie would be in favour I'm sure !!

It's one of the great things about this hobby, it offers so many options. Above all else, the aspect I enjoy most is watching the movement of the timetabled operation. Just what I did when young, from the lineside, platform or overbridge. Other than shunting moves I don't drive the trains. Never had that ambition as a boy, and now very content to let the DCC system do that job, which it does extremely well.
