...Woah! I watched the video last night and figured it might go for £30-£50 but that's crazy!!! I guess it's a one-of-a-kind collectors item in some peoples eyes

it seems that quite a few Ebay sellers have started passing on email addresses to thankyouemails.com who then proceed to send out emails claiming to be related to your purchase, but these are really just an excuse to send out marketing spam from the seller :( .

Is it me or are ebay searches getting worse?
I get so many irrelevant items come up with nothing to do with the search parameters I input.
It will keep jumping out of "UK only" and which category I am searching in and dismiss items it thinks are irrelevant to my search with "We removed some search results to show you the most relevant listings. View all results" when after clicking "view all results" there ARE things relevant to my search.
Let alone the lag on pages load times now.
Thanks

Around £6 from Amazon, doubtless cheaper elsewhere.

Think about this globally. To three quarters of the world's population you are a wealthy potential purchaser, if only they can get your attention. The mediating organisation wants to maximise transactions, and showing you stuff you didn't know you wanted, is thus in their interest.

There's opportunity in this. Ebay is a giant version of the car boot sale, presenting the largest possible random heap of what vendors have for sale. Such things are all very well, but most of us make the majority of our purchases from known retailers who make the effort to stock the stuff we are looking for. There will be an evolution to more specialisation in online sales, favouring those who can design a site that makes transactions in specialities simpler.

Perhaps a tenner apiece for the motorised chassis! They are basically junk.
