The baseboard is a table mat , pinched from the kitchen, This was covered in Dass, the Peco track was pressed hard into the clay, level with the top of the sleepers, then a spray of Track Grime. The 009 Roco engine was sprayed in grey primer...the son is planning a WW1 layout, few clumps of foliage, a tree, one hour of fun and rather a nice little cameo.
