This is my latest project, got side tracked from the others, but I started to draw this up about 3 years ago, then went flying and that was that.
So thought it was time to finish it. Added the person trying to pinch the coins as an extra point of interest.

Ok I have been a bit slack the last couple of years due to other interests. The last month been trying to get going again, wanting to do something different. Finally came up with an idea that is snowballing, and that is of a Gypsy camp with the caravans and all the other bits and pieces. So of the the computer and started modelling, so far have 4 finished and painted another 3 in various stages of completion. I will post some photos shortly.
But the snowball effect I am going to build a coach builders, which will have a couple of caravans in various stages of being built. The first one is a naked wooden frame sitting on a complete chassis and under floor. This has been designed and printed and just being assembled and painted.
So this leads to a wheel wright and any other workshop that comes along, probably a timber merchant. any suggestions welcome.
I have a blacksmith that I several months ago that looks like I did post that.

So hopefully will be posting much more often now I have started up again.

Gypsy camp? Careful they don't take over all the space on your layout! :D

As promised some photos of the blacksmiths shop, have to make several posts.

The stone work is cast in plaster in some double sided flexible resin molds.
Some of the detail parts are printed on a Bambulabs X1 Carbon and the rest was printed on an Anycubic Mono 4K.
This is a high tech version of scratch building, all the parts were designed by me then printed assembled and painted.
No pre-made bits were purchased. ( they let me out on the weekends for good behavior   )

Been doing a lot of drawing and printing since last post.
Here are a couple of the people and a general view of where things are going to fit.
First one is at the fire cooking bacon and eggs.
Second is man playing Violin.
The rest is just a general view of the overall scene.
The figures were created in MakeHuman, then imported into Blender with the other assets need for the scene, so that the pose could be created.
Then the figure was imported into my cad software to create the solids for printing.

In progress is a man with a piano accordion and another with a Guitar, plus several others that are still in the fairy department.

Will sit the caravans on the base and take some photo's.

Today I finally finish caravan number 7, so now I have to start working out how the scene will look.
Give me a break from the coke bottles.

the caravan was printed using a resin printer as are the figures.

Using a macro lense certainly shows up how bad the painting is close up.
