@mattmay05 i have added you to the list of completed

just a reminder if you are finished (or 'done' for the month even if not complete but still want to be included in votes) please post a link to finished post here or PM me, dont rely on me finding them - if your not on the list of completed projects here you need to let me know!

@carnehan - dont worry i have not finished either  but overall i think its generated enough activity to justify the time / effort of running it. I am already thinking about what i want to do next time around - maybe something i can actually finish

I'm sure Mrs C would agree, I am no multi-tasker. I has to be one project at a time on the Workbench and I found myself favouring my diorama. Next time out, I will aim to work at just the one thing to ensure I finish it. Depending on a start time, I have a fair idea what it will be. :D

having one thing is a good idea, i tend to have to many things on the go at one time and ends up with nothing getting finished

I seem to always have many on the go, if I get stuck on one (sometimes bits needed, are 6 weeks from china), always got something else to carry on with. Currently have 5!

i have added a post to my layout thread to act as the 'finishing' point of my entry and updated the list here

if anyone else wants to post a finishing point please do let me know, I think when voting I will just auto include everyone just to make sure no one gets missed out but its nice to have start and end points. Make sure you let me know via this thread or PM if you want me to update index.

the competition ends today! so get any last bits done ready for the voting

The voting is now open

Note: Voting is open to all forum users, not just those who have taken part - please do vote :)

Please review the projects list and select your top 3, all projects listed are valid - even those not in the completed projects list. Please PM me your top 3 in order, your top choice will get 3 points, 2nd 2 and 3rd 1. The person with the most points by the end will win.

The criteria you use to vote is up to you, I have left it like this so people can vote on what impressed them the most but a few things to keep in mind:
  • The topic chosen
  • Progress made
  • The skills on show
  • Taking on new challenges
  • The quality of the updates posted
If you think user X who failed to complete the project but posted really good updates and learnt new skills deserves to win please do select them as your first choice. Likewise if you think user Y who finished with excellent end result but didn't post updates deserves to win again please do select them.

When voting PM me your top 3, include them in order with usernames listed. Voting will run for 1 week so please get your votes in by the end of play on Tuesday the 7th of March. Votes entered after i tally up the results will not be counted.

Any questions please do let me know, good luck to everyone!
