Alex,

I've decided some of my deck clearing can be used, so yes my entry starts here :-
viewtopic.php?f=49&t=46675&p=623249#p623249

I had already made 2 of these vans and bought the kits to extend this to a rake of 6.
I HATE to see rakes of wagons with the same running number and these Dapol kits
offer 4 options. With care it's possible to cut individual numbers off and re-locate to
get almost any of the production numbers so long as you don't need a '3'.

Thanks for the heads up, i have added a completed section to the list and linked the start / end posts, also added the completion date as well.

Another call out to any lurkers, there is still time to enter  its open to all.

Also I think its worth pointing out, the voting is also open to all members & not just those who have taken part. So keep that in mind while nosing around the threads as you will be able to vote for your favourite ones, like previous competition voters will be able to choose their top three projects (in order!) and they will all get points. (1st = 3 points, 2nd =2 points, 3rd = 1 point). The projects will then be ranked on the number of points received.

Its up to individual members how they rank the projects but remember to take into account all of the factors for example: the starting point, the finishing point, the updates given on the project, the skills learnt / used, etc etc.

It should mean that all projects are contenders no matter the topic/ skill level / ending point.

I am glad that i can choose 3, it would be to hard to narrow it down to just one

Hi Alex. Since Carnehan has challenged me to build something else ---- ? Put me down for another entry. It is not included in the actual competition. :)

I shall build a model of The Flying Scotsman engine.

To stop me from going mad while managing it i think its best to keep it to one entry per user  - at this point your just showing off!

It sounds interesting so please do make sure you post a link to it when you start! What model are you thinking of making or are you scratch building it?

Hi Alex. Carnehan challenged me to make something else. :D

As a Christmas present I received a model of The Flying Scotsman. ----- in 165 parts :o . That is what I shall build. (Hopefully).

Glencairn, I merely poked and you jumped. :D

I'd like to see this build whether it's a competition piece or not. You could do YouTube video and compete against James Mays efforts. We can vote on that.
