Post by Alex3410 »

Hi all this is the 'official' thread for the June competition,

Its another open to everything so if you ave a project your working on your more then welcome to take part! - its open to everyone!

If your taking part please post here and i will create an index for everyone (please post in this thread so you can easily keep up-to-date with it :) )

The rules:
1)Users must post an introduction post showing where they are starting from
2)Users must post a final post at the end (even if its unfinished as its still interesting to see)
3)Users can enter at any point up until the closing date (no extra time given)
4)At the end of the month entrants will post a final post in their threads and PM me to let me know they are done, I will then post here with a list of entries for people to vote on (via PM) before a winner is chosen.

and finally
5)Its just a bit of fun so please remember this

Note: this is run by forum members as a bit of fun and there is no prize

Well I'll have the second half of June to myself once exams are finished...

Oh go on then, I'll think of something closer to the time. :)

I will enter something, as it's already been agreed to be an article already for a mag when they show interest then I consider it good enough.

In which case I withdraw, as I can have a pretty good guess as to what it's going to be! Seriously, looking forward to it. :)

And thanks for the good luck wishes, first one is on Tuesday... :?

Has anyone been able to figure out what they fancy doing this time around?

Keep flicking between ideas but in the meantime trying to clear out some in progress jobs so as usual the competition is giving me a boot to get things over the finish line  just completed my first 1:72 spitfire I have done for many years!

Nothing so far this end. I'm working on getting platforms and retaining walls done round the station at the minute - not exactly competition material. I'm considering a rake of 3 Dapol mineral wagons but not sure yet. Whatever it is will have a little less work required than last months build.

I would disagree - it can't harm to enter, especially with the high quality results that we can rely on you to produce.

if thats what your working on please do enter it - its a project thats likely to appeal to a wide audience even outside of the competition, i have always been marking my votes down to final product & updates given so if you have a really nice 'tutorial' for the project its a vote winner
