June 2015 forum competition
Re: June 2015 forum competition
I could be up for this.
Either modding a
Class 66 (with the 3 cluster lights) for day and night running lights, switchable tail lights, Detonator flash, directional cabs, ESU Sound, Hall sensor, capacitor
or
Class 128 directional lights, switchable tail lights, directional cab lights, detonators, ESU Sound, capacitor
Vote?

I like the sound of the Class 128 - what class is the sound file from though as none of the 128s were preserved?james2k wrote: Class 128 directional lights, switchable tail lights, directional cab lights, detonators, ESU Sound, capacitor

Count me in this time, I'm looking for an answer to a problem visitor to the layout. A bit of defensive construction called for.

It'll be a Biffo sound. If I remember correctly the same engine is in a DMU so they recorded that.skyblue wrote:I like the sound of the Class 128 - what class is the sound file from though as none of the 128s were preserved?james2k wrote: Class 128 directional lights, switchable tail lights, directional cab lights, detonators, ESU Sound, capacitor

The Hornby Victorian Shops kit is going to be my June competition piece so I have started the build thread accordingly.

I haven't entered myself into one of these before.
Can someone tell me the ground rules? Where do I have to post the thread?

Rules are found in the first post in this thread. I believe you post the thread in the Kit Building section as us mere mortals can't make new topics in the competition section.
