yeah of course it can, it's set at a max size of 4footsquare for double o but can shrink down. Mine will be in n so max of 2foot square, but i'll probably only need 1foot square if that!

Im going to give this a go to use up some dark evenings. Going to use a recent photo, found on the internet of two locos i already own to keep the cost down.

Heres one i did earlier

by D210bob and reproduced here with permission. I dont have 50050 so 009 is standing in and I cant get my camera as low down as the picture but I am quite pleased with how it came out.

Oh.. fair enough 70ft is I little on the large side for as dio. Lol.

One thing that I like about the shot is the discarded rusting track. Any tips on how I could produce that result ? Is it just weathering with paint?

That is seriously the most true to life model picture that I have ever seen, I spent a good five minutes staring at it looking for the flaw that gives it away as a model, and I cannot find it! Absolute brilliance.
