The Hobby Goblin

Post by Duncan83 »

Following on from a post i read about the silly money people are paying for SECOND HAND items I had a look around for some N gauge wagons and coaches I was watching. And guess what i found them cheaper and new. I thought I would share a shop i came across online and would like some info back on this shop.

They seem cheap on many items :D

I've just picked up on your post, sorry it's been 3 years in the making!
I live near Burslem so I've been into the Hobby Goblin a few times when getting bits and pieces for my layout.
The guy who owns it (I've not got his name) is really helpful and evidently knows his stuff, the shop itself is an Aladdins cave, they stock most of the main brands, there is a layout in the shop (my sons now use that as the benchmark for a decent layout) and they regularly get second hand stuff in.
It's a positive review from me anyway so I wouldn't have any qualms recommending them.
