I think I'll wait till I see one before I get excited :?

Couldn't afford to replace my Heljan fleet anyway. :(

Looking forward to the Class 29 in BR Green. I will have to see the pictures of the warning panels before I decide whether to get half or full ones. The ones Hornby produced have been discontinued for quite a while I think.

Hmmm. There's a queue of 'to do' at Dapol when it comes to OO locos, as a look at their site reveals.

"OO gauge class 22 locomotive 04.03.08
We take great pleasure in publicly announcing that we have, for some months now, been working on a North British class 22 locomotive for release in OO gauge.

This locomotive will have the highest specification yet seen in OO gauge ..." http://www.dapol.co.uk/index.php?option ... &Itemid=64

See that date? There's just a month to go, and then this, the first of the OO locos Dapol announced and supposed to be available in 2009, will be three years from announcement and still not on sale. On that basis I think you have plenty of time to make your mind up on the livery you want your 29 to carry...

The old (and rather inaccurate) Hornby models can still be got s/h occasionally. The tools aren't that old, and it is no worse as a model than a lot of the Lima they have revived. Perhaps they will bring it back into their range...
