I don't think they do a ready to run Ffestiniog loco, but when I was Porthmadog station there was a shop there that sold the kits. You need to get a chassis (N gauge for OO9) to put the kit onto.

You may find some ready built kits on e-bay.

'Ello.

Can't sleep - too excited about Krauss-Helmholtz trucks and 0-8-0 tankies... It takes all sorts.

A good start is
http://www.festshop.co.uk
Click "Product Overview" button and then "009 Model Railways"
Most of which are on:
http://www.langleymodels.co.uk/acatalog ... ts_15.html

Else have a look at Parkside Dundas' page on
http://www.scalefour.org/parkside/ngindex.htm - or phone them up and ask for a catalogue. They stock most manufacturers, many of which do FR locos

Or, upping the detail and price range:
http://www.backwoodsminiatures.com/009kits.htm and scroll down

Finally, of course:
http://www.009society.com/
has a cracking sales stand - and model kits (built and unbuilt) pop up from time to time from their members which are advertised through the sales officers column in the monthly newsletter. Recommended.

Speaking of which, had to prise myself away from their sales stand on Saturday after seeing a lovely chunky model of "Conwy Castle" in its 1980s orange and grey scheme

I've no financial connections to any of these, apart from spending my hardearned at PD and being a satisfied member of oo9 soc. Oh, and occasionally clouting bits of PWay on the FR.

Andy
Alternatively, I've a completeish tenderless Blanche that I could be persuaded to part with. But I don't want to sully this forum with p!mping my stuff... ;-)

I would suggest that you also might to consider the Narrow Gauge Railway Modellers online forum at http://ngrm-online.com/forum/index.php which will help with any info you need on NG modelling.
