These are the jouef coaches.
We have removed the molded white line, which may of cost us a shorter life!! Some of the coaches are like they are made from asbestos! Some of the coaches flex and others are quite brittle!
Added some detail and painted.
Removed the couplings (awaiting replacements)
Removed the wheels ordered a load of sets and realised we needed to swap the axels, a nasty job!
Fitted brake discs to the wheels.
Put on transfers, still ongoing!
Glazing to replace, old was clear needs to be smoked.
Some detail corrections to complete on the roofs.
Lighting maybe!
Should of held out for Oxford ones!!

It's interesting to see how much space a full HST takes up....a lot! It looks the business already and don't worry about the Oxfords, they won't look as good as the Jouefs. Did you order some Keen close couplers? I'd like to see how well they work/how easy to fit....might need floor surgery.

Have you removed all the buffers yet? Save them for me if you can to fit to some Lima mk2's.

Your HST would have a power car in both of my stations at the same time :)

Bufferstop, thats means you could get on the front end of the train, start walking down it, and after it traveled to the next stop, you would get out at the same station! :o

Just about! The only way I could replicate that occurrence would involve lifting the gate on the end of my storage tracks, and catching the coaches as they fell off the end. ATM the only service I've replicated with the (almost) correct stock is the GWR's, pre WW2, high speed morning railcar from Birmingham to Cardiff running non stop from the storage sidings to my hands beyond the bridge at the other end of the line.

Agreed these will make oxfords look poor
I’ve not ordered the keens yet but will at some point, have a number of things I need to order, but putting a little shopping list together.
I will do what I can to remove the buffers in one bit.

Yes. That's it. Leeds. I know someone who lives in Bramley. I've never been there though. Just the name rang a bell. I dont know many people from the Far East though so it is why that name stood out.
