Not wishing to be negative, but that site doesn’t seem very up to date! Many more newer system are on the market but not a mention of them... e.g. Hornby Select, Elite, Bachmann EZ, Bachmann Dynamis, the MRC reference is for the Express and now of course there’s the MRC Prodigy Advanced2 and then the NCE Power Cab & Power Pro ranges to mention a few.
Worth a view, but desperately needs an update.
However even the 'P4me' site with Lisa’s excellent cross reference charts hasn't listed the Dynamis as yet!

The product DCC-Bitswitch is what we use to control the movment of traffic in one or more isolated sections of track. Look at http://www.dcctrainautomation.co.uk for more information.

These items were invented to control muilt trains on the same peice of track with out you haveing to slow one down or speed one up. Is designed to be used with dcc systems and also DC systems. You can still control the train functions when the loco are in control with these switches. e.g speed, light sounds and other functions. So if you are controling a trian and you come up on aother in the section in front of this train the system will slow the loco to a stop and till the next section is free. I have the Bachman Digital Starter Set. I am at a total loss as to what I am doing and the more I attempt to understand it the more confusing it gets. After 4 years of attempting to set up a model railway layout I am sorely tempted to hurle everything in the bin.

I have my track plan - a simple 6' x 4' oval with one siding. Is it really so difficult to get locos to run on it? I have had one of the locos replaced for a brand new one and still nothing - the connecting clip from the control unit to the track is a nightmare to connect - it took me 4 hours just to connect it and all the lighs are lighting on the EZ Command unit but the track is dead. However when I attemp touse dcunction button 10 - analogue - and put an anologue loco on the track it flies off like a rockket then stops as dead as its DCC companions are. Any and All idiot prood advice will be more than welcome. I have a stack of the "Shows You How" series leaflest all about DCC and cannot get a thing to respond to what i read iin them. The leqaflwests make DCC sound l.ike a dream - to me it is a nightmare. i have surfed the net for ghours on end and every time i look at a web site abnout DCC I may as well be readin g it in a foreign language for all i can understand of it.
