I have already posted this elsewhere on the site but I guess at the moment the DJH kit Clan that I built a couple of years ago is my favourite.

Hengist - the might have been Clan - is seen hauling the Orient Express rake I built for Paul Wade's Tonbidge West Yard - pictured here.

Unfortunately Hengist with its Markits wheels didn't like Paul's track so it was replaced by two 73's :(

Why does it have bluetack under the plough? Anyway, My favourite model has to be the Golden Age Model's Devon Belle with lights in any gauge, because she just looks b-e-a-utiful! Oh, and the J70 from I think it's Silver fox models :D :D

A great build but the nose and cab windows are very wrong I am afraid.

Cheers

Now you've made me notice that, it looks horrific! Like you say though, the builder has some serious skill...

Scale modellers beware, cover your eyes these two will give you nightmares.....lol. It's so difficult to have favourites but these two have to be in my top ten.

Another is LNER D49 Class Cheshire which I have been trying to obtain a mint example of since it came out in 1980, still trying!

I must admit .....I've got a soft spot for the Princess's
Heres my three .....
Image
.....the BR Green one was originally a black 46205 similar to Son-of-triangmans ....but it got repainted in BR Green and I fitted a smoke generator [originally from a Hornby Britania]
Of the two red ones [both 6201's] ....one has the factory fitted smoke generator and the other has a factory fitted "Synchro-smoke" unit.
The more observant among you might notice that bodies have been swapped around somewhat on the locos [note the one at the rear has a slightly different [cruder] valve gear arrangement ....same as "son-of-traingmans" .....this was the original chassis on the black 46205] .....I swapped the bodies because two of them have the "chuff-chuff" box in the tender and I wanted the "synchrosmoke" unit in the BR green one.

I've also got a soft spot for the good old B12 ...
Image
The centre one [8544] is the recent China built example .....I acquired [the other] two models of 8509 within a few days of each other .....both have "synchrosmoke" units in them .....one became 61572 [as is on the North Norfolk Railway] ......one of the other ones [8509 or 8544] will be renumbered possibly as 8572 or 1572 .....which is of course 61572's original number .......although I'm waiting until the real 1572/8572/61572 :? emerges from its current overhaul [at the NNR] to see which livery and number will be apt.

best regards
Terry
I know it's the fastest .....but why did they have to name it after a duck?
