You're going to need a lot of hands to operate that lot manna.
Looking forward to seeing it progress.

G'Day Gents
Nice to have a bit of room, but a lot to fill.
The points to hand, will stay hand operated, the points out of reach, will, one day be power operated, how long that will be

Now that I have worked out the track layout in my head and on the baseboards, it's time to lay more cork, several sheets have been laid. A box of wagons was opened (sealed for three years) under them was 8 more points, that was handy, I still don't have enough track, to lay a large fiddleyard, but I can lay the points in position.
Also found my stash of Kirk coaches, 23 all up, three started, including the buffet, which I started a couple of years ago.

Moving forward, All the track has been laid, the scenic areas tracks are complete, the fiddle yard is patchey, Down slow, is still a single line, as is the two main lines, although, points have been laid, for later insertion, the 'Up slow' has one loop and a dead end siding, that will be Next years job.
Bounds Greens many sidings have been reduced to 'Two' carriage roads, pathetic, but that's all I have room for. There is room for a few more siding 'Off scene'.
Piccy time

PS, Sorry for the Wonky Pic.

'And the Carriage sidings, the road to the left is the 'Up Hertford line' to the right, is the 'Through Carriage line' I'll have to build a carriage washer, for that line.

Looks good. Is wood expensive where you are?

G'Day Mountain.
A 8'x4' sheet of ply is about $50, not to bad, all the ply for the layout was around $500, I've spent the same amount on the plain track I bought up to Qld from Adelaide.

Don't know how much it is here, but I was told that the prices have gone up since we now import wood from the Far East.

Re: Edgware GN, Bounds Green.
Wood isn't actually that expensive as such. A tree makes it for free. Some years past I had an engaging chat with a chap who owned a big garden, who had a mature oak blown down and was very excited at the prospect of using the green oak for a modest summerhouse. By the time he had the price for cutting up for transport to sawmill and having it cut into the sections required and returned, it turned out to be cheaper to sell the oak locally for collection, and to simply buy a green oak summerhouse kit he had seen advertised, that had inspired thoughts of the summerhouse in the first place. It's the processing and transport that costs, and a specialist with all the kit and technique in place to source the oak and make the parts to established designs, and then transport the kit to customer had all the efficiencies taped... (I provoked this conversation by admiring said summerhouse in which visitors could serve themselves with teas/coffee/cakes on an honesty box basis, somewhere in Dorset - lovely garden altogether, our little party spent five hours wandering around.)
