The first one for me; we had a similar hump in a local branch, and it captures the appearance very well.

Good progress Manna!

G'Day Gents

The old Mojo has been a bit slow of late, but with plenty of other stuff to distract me, it's slowly coming back, I need to finish the GN tender I've started, as I have three parcels of goodies on the way.

Merry Christmas everyone and a Happy 2025.

Happy Christmas manna - nice snow-camouflaged tender there - I like the corner strengtheners in the overhead shot - looking forward to the completed job.

Yep bought myself a cheap A2/2, with the tender top missing. Going to backdate it to LNER livery.

It's amazing what you can do with plastic.
Some interesting shaping going to be required.

Probably stay as Thane of Fife, not really looked into that, it's still in the UK, it'll be three months at least before it gets here. I already have a 'Mallard' tender top, and a 'V' cab, again off a Mallard or a V2 cab. Early days.

G'Day Geoff

Plastic is amazing to work with, GN cabs are a favorite with me.

G'Day Gents

The GN tender has moved on a little, almost time for a coat of paint.

To keep myself amused, the V2 has been attacked with brake fluid, the green gunk, masquerading as paint has been stripped off revealing a lot more detail, a bit of detailing to to be added before painting.

Now back in Queensland. Very restricted modelling for the last couple of months. The J4 has had a coat of paint and has received it's number, the V2 has been cleaned up and again has been painted. In total, 53 yards of track has been transported to Qld, I wonder if that enough ?????

G'Day Gents.

After cutting a lot of grass, and buying spare parts to repair my trailer, (new bearings and a hub, and a tyre repair, needs a new one) there's not been a lot of time spare, but I have removed the dust sheets, the baseboards are still in very good condition, but the track is a bit grubby, that maybe a ongoing issue, but that's the Tropic's for you.

All my track has been unpacked, and laid out in a rough shape of Bounds Green, a few bits don't fit to well, but it'll look like what it proport's to be.

The Caravans been unloaded to, wow, there was more in there than I thought !
