It's definitely going to be at Warley this year 8) !

Medford POLR - Gn15

It's the 1960s in Utah, and rail movement is the main method of transport. One siding off Union Pacific's mainline is occupied by The Medford Post Office and it's light railway. This layout is modelled on the internal workings of the Post Office and it's operation revolves around the movement of mail in various forms.

Rolling stock is Sidelines, ground cover is chinchilla dust from the local pet shop and all buildings being scratchbuilt using prototype materials wherevever possible.

George

Your wall with the bils posted, a nice effect would be to have some torn or partially ripped posters, also some overlapping posters.

Something along the lines of:

Just a thought

Just looked up David Tress on the web, nice stuff.

One of my all time favourite bits of art is similar to the above but created with French 1960s election posters, it's brilliant (that is I think it is!).

Hello George,

Love the Wile E Coyote pics - most amusing! Almost the start of a Wallace and Gromett type series! LOL!

You realise that there will be a whole host of people from the Forum at Warley this year all bringing Road Runners, Pink Panthers, Hair Bear Bunch, Scooby Doo and Shaggy type figures to feature on the layout.

This could however be an idea for a future 'Loony Tunes Layout'! Painted tunnel mouths on canvas with trains coming out of them running Wile over, Acme signal and control system that fail to work for Wile until the moment that he tests it! The list goes on and my sanity with it! But then again as they say at the end of the best cartoons - Thats all folks!

However in all seriousness - keep up the good work George - things are coming on leaps and bounds and your continued inspires me but puts my efforts to shame!
