Lovely. I like the 0-4-2T. I can see a bump where you missed a railjoiner. Oops! :D

So can I --- now. Trains still run over it okay, but I shall fix it. :)

Is funny. One can go for years and not notice something until one takes photos!

So true, and an important error at that.

Did you plant that sticky-up nail in the sleeper just for clever-clogs like me to spot?

Naturally.

The new Sovereign Street Station is still under construction. Work is slow going. I missed that pin. Trains on test runs still managed to travel over it with no problem. It will be fastened down and I shall check for more. :)

Not sure about Express Trains as they arrive at what was Leeds Central.
The line to York passing through Leeds Sovereign Street Station was never finished because of The Great War. (It got as far as Wetherby) Therefore Sovereign Street became a kind of backwater secondary route.

Along with Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway carriages some London & North Western stock was seen in Sovereign Street. The 2.4.2 Tank locomotive will also be seen also. I doubt they will be in a hurry though.

its the one regret I have with the layout I have - no space for a branchline, means so many lovely little locomotives look a bit out of place

this will not stop me running ones in suitable colours, 2-4-2T have something lovely about them

Nothing wrong with a two carriage local on the Main Line. Slow things down to a gentle pace. :)

On my layout I have a diverted express Troop Train now and again to liven things up a little. :D

my G5 will never have more than two, and the N2 likely seldom more than one. have a little 0-6-0T planned to get a pair of clerestory coaches, which need "some improvements", need a decoder for the little J72 first, my usual Lenz ones don't fit

G'Day Gents

N1 and N2's were used on 'Pullman' workings out of Bradford, and linked up at Wakefield, ( Leeds-Kings Cross Pullman).
