i took the plunge and started to weather my bachmann locos. Dont think its that bad really. What do you all think

Hi All

Im currently working my way through a batch of class 31's using the Lima model as a base. For one of them i found a pic of 31413 looking quite filtly and so I decided that would be my prototype. Weathering for me, consists of 3 stage and is all done with Humbrol enamels:

stage one - washes

stage 2 - airbrush

Image
stage 3 - dry brush. I also use a little bit of Klear floor polish at this stage for the bits that are still wet - Im quite pleased with how these areas came out on this one (below)
