Cheers! An interesting and educational experience. That I'd rather avoid moving on ;-)

A minor update - the mystery air pipes arrived. Described as 'soft resin' they are flexible, think rubber. Pretty well moulded. Not a bad idea, what with coupling and so on. The bracket to hold it on comes from MMP.

And here they are fitted.

The Painting & Decorating department has done it's stuff. I've gone with very light weathering on this one. Glazing will to go in, then the roof will be fixed on, after the transfers arrive. Still cannot find "25-8" tare transfers (or a sheet of ones to cut up to make it), the closest is the Parkside Pillbox 25t van - about the only Parkside kit you can't get the transfers for separately. Oh, forgot to paint the chimney...

Another very smart model.
Can't help with decals, I've not done enough in 7 mm to have any.

And, after a not inconsiderable battle of wills making the tare transfer from individual characters, the QM 2.0 is done, complete with glazing. Fixing the roof, the last hurdle to cross, will see it complete.

Now to do QM 1.0...
