Ingenious, very much enjoyed the video. The river scene continues to mesmerize.
Your layout is a standard by which I would measure my own small efforts.

Another video would be grand. Different angles, perhaps a still of the marvelous waterside with theRailwayRobbo wrote:NO reminders please of what I should be doing when I'm actually in the layout shed.glencairn wrote:Do what you like so long as it is to do with railway modelling.Dad-1 wrote:Should I, or shouldn't I include another Video of trains running on St Oval.

Re: St.Oval - A scenic Set Track Oval
Sorry but I keep returning to St Oval.
Here we have a lazy father's day freight running through quietly.
One day perhaps I'll get around to finishing this 'Favourite' running oval. A year since many trees
were removed to do an exhibition on another layout and they're still in the box !!
A question for anyone watching.
Which is the 'Wren' wagon ?

I'll vote for the second cattle wagon. Looks a bit short but has the essential hole in the upper door.

Sorry Bufferstop - Wrong.
The second cattle wagon is from a Dapol Kit and is in fact the right length.
The wrong-un is the patched Bachmann RTR, for some reason they've never re-tooled it.

I'll choose the white van. No reason because I haven't a clue.

Hi Glencairn,
Knowing now what the first 2 are you were left with one chance in 7
But - Wrong, that is a Parkside kit for which I still have to get the right decal sheet to finish.
That has it's own story - paid for but never received, chased and never received, promised and never received !!

Is it the Esso tanker? (BTW shouldn't it be Wrenn)?Dad-1 wrote:A question for anyone watching.

Brilliant PNP,
Who but an experienced 'N' gauge modeller would pick up the missing 'N' !
You know I had to get my magnifying glass out to check, yet the optician thinks
my sight is still O.K to drive ?
Well no, the Esso tank is from a Dapol kit. While the Bachmann cattle wagon is long,
my 'A' tank is short, simply a re-paint and re-numbering of the 'B' class tank. I'd have
to check the details, but the light distillates can have a larger tank that carries the
same weight. Both fit on exactly the same chassis. More pointless knowledge. Could
I be bothered to add a small slice from another tank - No Way !!

Re: St.Oval - A scenic Set Track Oval
I will send you a sheet for your Mica sometime during the week Geoff. They are waterslide from Modelmaster, left over from a long-finished project. If you are using roundels, enough for one; if you are using large GW initials, enough for two.Dad-1 wrote:Hi Glencairn,
