I've run out of appropriate follage for more Birches and have no money for buying twenty or thirthy more plants and the glycerin for makinmg more so, at least temorarilly, the woods were inbcreased by tree armatures still without foliage. (Soimetimes it is hard to be a modeller!)

A lots must still happen and will.
The colours (and for sure the lihghting!) need serious adjustments; the trees musttemporarilly be removed so I can work on the fastening of the hut and the wood to the ground, work it out and add all details. Then the trees will be back but most probably all in different places because my lone brain cell has no chance to keep in mind each tree's position. But work is going on, I keep learning a lot from it and the stream of joy at doing it all is amazing beautiful.

May be a tarpaulin would help the hut to call the viewer's eyes: "Hey, you...!: I am here!!!" so ...

ImageIMG_0007 (17) by Daniel Osvaldo Caso, on Flickr

Yes, I see, the shape of the tarpaulin looks acceptable but the colours seem to be scraming '_This is rusty iron !_' The reason is Mr. Wallet who is against of spending in more pastels colours this month. (But still I'll probably will today because I can easily mix the right colour in acrylics but I lkove the 'dusty' texture left by the powder pastels!)

ImageIMG_0004 (22) by Daniel Osvaldo Caso, on Flickr

The material for the tarpaulin is a piece of duct tape with a couple of small folds, a layer of white primer on, gray spray pain and a jam session with the few still remaining powder pastels...

ImageIMG_0001 (22) by Daniel Osvaldo Caso, on Flickr

I expected the glue of the tape would help to adhere it to the roof but after the powder storm that doesn't work any more. But spray glue will do the job.

Mr. Wallet is dancing in the kitchen!

No, we didn't get any money but thanks an unexpected find there is no need for the time being to go buy more pouder pastels: in an old box I've found three small jars of still unopenned Vallejo weathering powders!!!

That help-ed to transform -even not being a conscious alchemist- rusty iron into an old tarpaulin:

Well, I know nothing about but what I deduce from the old postcards in previous messages is they went to the woods at a certain times and worked cutting wood and burning it for making coal. Some images show poor people aparently staying there for long and having a dog, chicken and a more comfortable (...) hut. May be for more tha one person.
Other images show what seems to be the man or men working with also a not too young woman that could be his wife of who knows.
Othe Photos show what seems an a bit festive situation where family or friends visiting...
I can't read French so no much chance to learn about but I like the scenes.

I can imagine some passing child drawing a face on those buckets.

Thank you, Rob.

Your comment made me see what you say.
That made me think that, indeed, in a place were so much wood is gets burnt for making coal a thin black layer must have been everywhere and that made me recall my airbrush and the method of holding a piece of card in the air above the scene while airbrushing upon the card a very thin layer of matt black so it forms a very delicate grayish layer everywhere...
I never used that method until now but may be this time I'll do.
Thank you for the ignition SPARK!

(Oh, noooOOOO...!!! ... ... :o :o :o ...!!!!!!!!!)
