Bit late to the topic here, but for signalling matters I always refer to this website. Written by professionals and very informative.

Re: Semaphore signalling help
This Signature Left Intentionally Blank, but since I have written this and I intended to do it, this Signature is intentionally not blank. Paradox or What?
My layout - Gateside and Northbridge

Re: Semaphore signalling help
Taking on board everyone's suggestions and consulting Freezer's book, I've finally gotten round to redrawing the proposed signalling diagram for my layout.

I've added in a distant signal and a Limit of Shunt board which as indicated by the arrows, they'll be fitted onto the MPD Board so there'll be a "realistic distance" from the home bracket.
Bracket Signal on the headshunt now changed to a Single Ground Disc and will be correctly sited on the left of the track so please ignore the number placement.
Main Platform signal now sited to the the left and changed to single starter.
Bay Platform signal will be sited on the platform and will retain a Starter and Disc for the Branch and Shed respectively.
Siding below now has it's own Disc controlling movement onto the branch and to the shed.
Crossover at the end of the station now has double discs on either side of it.
Hopefully this should be a bit more correct than the previous drawing.

Re: Semaphore signalling help
spot on correct or otherwise it looks the part which is the main thing, and will look a damned sight better for the effort you have put into it
