I like the plan Emmettman. Out of interest, is Emmett the fictional train type thing similar to what Smallbrook Studio make in kit form?
I have a plan similar to the one you have. Didn't consider using such tight curves in 00 gauge. My plan would have needed a large board, but if I tighten the shunting curves the Sky's the limit... Well. Not quite sky....

My name here points to my admiration for him,
I made models of Emett trains and had an exhibition layout that travelled for 15 years before retiring.

This was well before the Smallbrook designs, which are impressive.
(But I reckon the chimney is overdone on Nellie)

10" radius is a quirky favourite of mine for displays etc. Fleischmann 6020. No longer made, but findable. Still on the Anyrail database.
