I had to be dropped off early today, so I sat at the station and read my book, watched some trains (got chocked by carbon Monoxide and Sulfur thanks to a 165 )
I worked on this today - try and guess what it is

Here is my video that I made of GWS 50. I will apologies in advance on behalf of youtube, as they have decided that my 16:9 widescreen video will look better in a squashed 4:3 Format. (after spending 2 hours saving the video and then 1 1/2 hours uploading it, I really cba to remake it, so I may upload it on another site like vimeo, but we'll see)

Re: Didcot Railway Centre. (PICTURE HEAVY)
Guesssss who
Pendennis Tried to make a break for it!
My favourite little engine raising steam for the last time for a while
This is the last you shall see of this livery for a while!
Pendennis' Firebox
Here's some for you Kenny
3822 While the shed was empty (they're doing a lot of moving around at the moment and almost every loco is outside!
3822 taken from a ladder
Cookham manor, one of the 3 left in the shed!
7202 makes steady progress
Very empty shed (and my auto-focus is having a day off )
Wee Tank engines
Argh! It that thing again!
Artsy Fartsy!
10 Containers bringing building things in (don't ask me what they're building, as I'm only a loco monkey) - and there's another 16 to come!
Oh it tried so hard to escape! but then realised what was good for it!
You know that annoying moment when you're running a model train and the last coach decides to uncouple?
Pannier tank
A crannnnnne!
Helpful plaque
More artsy fartsy
Lots of engines outside!
18000
Trojan going to collect its coach
Lines of locos
Lots of engine in the engine room
Cabful of controls
Pendennis' Boiler
What be this? :O
More wee tank engines!
BPC No.1
Yes, this is an engineering works
Trojan doing some shunting with scald marks
Pendennis in experimental Silver Livery being turned (This was just before Trojan hit the turntable sign!)
It be bumped!
King and a Castle
Seeing it like this in the open, I feel quite proud (even if I have only painted a little bit and remade the valves )
Happy Boiler
Unfortunately this is out of service as well
Not a sticker Shed Plate
Some of Pendennis has run
There is more to come soon

Re: Didcot Railway Centre. (PICTURE HEAVY)
Well, I said there'd be more!
Continuing from the last post
Tried to be arsty fartsy, but failed....miserably!
The Saint's frames have now been painted Black (instead of orange primer!)
Cookham Manor
Another one for you Kenny
Steaming down
And thats it for pictures now
I have a video or 2 of Trojan shunting, quite a fitting end for its ticket, doing what it was built for

Re: Didcot Railway Centre. (PICTURE HEAVY)
Actually i have a mission for ya
At Didcot how is the water cranes in front of the engine shed contacted to the main water supply? Is it underground water pipes to what looks like a water storage on top of the coal stage or is it just contacted to the local water supply?
Thanks

Re: Didcot Railway Centre. (PICTURE HEAVY)
I know that they definatley used to be as there are some massive pipes in the bottom brick part of the coaling stage, not sure whether they are still in use though? Although there are a few wet patches inside the coal part of the coaling stage as if the roof has been dripping, so I can't say that I'm sure, but it may still be in use.

With Trojan going out of service, do you have any idea about when some others (Saint, Pendennis etc) will start running?

Re: Didcot Railway Centre. (PICTURE HEAVY)
I've been asked this a few times, tbh, I'm not sure what'll be back in steam yet, it'll either be 4144 or 7202 - I think. The Saint and County are still a fair way off. Although I think the Saint may arrive at around the time when Pendennis comes back (2014).
