Thats what I mean... There is enough differenmce between the two scales to make a difference when put side by side... and HOe models are of a larger track gauge and loading gauge than 009 (in general)... Therefore making the loco in HO will mean that put alongside little 009 tank locos it won't look quite as giant-sized and it would if in OO scale!

Exactly.
But the giant-sized-ness is the only reason why I really want a Lyd2!
