nothing wrong with a 10x4 foot layout in 00 guage, in most cases its about as big as you can fit in the avarage spare room. im building one at the moment and cant no matter how much i wish see how it could be bigger really. at the end of the day you can do whatever you like after all its your layout. would still love to see it progress as i do all the laypouts here. i just wish i hadnt rushed ahead and ballasted every thing down on my layout. ripped it up twice allready and still dont think its right yet. just havent got it in me to rip it all up again
not sure about N guage either... prefer 00
