Hi Ste I just used ordinary matt emulsion from wilkinsons 'Forest Walk'. Got a tester pot for about £1.25 / £1.50 ? It wasn't expensive.

I always think the staff in the local DIY store must wonder what colour scheme I'm going for in the lounge when I buy 6 tester pots... Cocoa brown, sea green and Military Grey :D
cheers, Mark.

Hi everyone,
today i bit the bullet and got out my steam loco's. now the board has locos everywhere
I have a little 0-6-0, a flying scotsman and another called prince of paletine. they dont run great (the scotsman realy does fly on the corners off the edge of the board at full speed ! )
I will post some pics later on.
Cheers

Hi phibs, yes it is the a4 prince palatine, and i ony run about 3 coaches at the moment. i have some light brown coloured coaches, but there isnt enough room to store them on the layout at the moment, i have about 6 of them. so its either 3 br coaches or 6 Lner ones :P
Thanks,

Whilstin Newcastle for the day on saturday i nipped in modelzone. its pretty much useless for n gauge items apart from hornby lydle end. so i bought some :D
i got a: Lock with top and bottom adapters, a litle church gate and some walls for a house. lastly, a concrete hopper, which is too short to stand over the tracks and let a train pass under it  :?
Thanks,
Ste.

P.S. the canal stuff isnt for this layout its for the layout im planning
