will give that a go, occurs on other forum sites also, apparently its a "security" thing inside chrome and chrome based browsers, and while there is an option to override it on a site by site basis firstly everyone would have to do it, which isn't practical and secondly it doesn't work anywayBufferstop wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 3:47 pmAs a work around try using url instead of imgaleopardstail wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 9:13 amits my own hosting site, images work in firefox but not chrome, I suspect its down to it being http, not httpsBufferstop wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 11:35 pm Check that you are using the public URL for your images. The hosting site issues it under sharing or publishing the image, the URL that you get when uploading the image is private to you, so the image will be available to you when you preview the post, but no one else can see it.
See viewtopic.php?t=51876 and other posts in the same forum for the method of linking images.
