Well what are those little signs that reside on the front of engine sheds? Are they some kind of speed restriction? Who can I obtain some from?
Cheers Harry

I can only presume you mean....
Which are placed on any structure where there is no safe space to walk past it down either side of the track/line (a bridge, tunnel, shed entrance, etc)
It's use is similar to....
Which indicates there is no safe walking route on that side of the track/line, but there is on the other side (or atleast there are places of safety to get to if a train comes).

Yes, Thanks Hairy. Do you mind if I use the red one for my engine shed and my bridge?

Not my pictures, I used google to find them, but they shouldn't be too hard to make a version of, or you could search 'limited clearance sign' for an image.

Just make sure you use the right one!!

One think I dislike is people spreading signs around their layout at random with no regard to authenticity!
(rant over! )

The official term used for the signs is "Limited clearance" signs. These are placed to warn railway workers or traincrew etc that in these locations, if a train came there is no room for them to get out of the way so extra care needs to be taken to ensure ones safety.
