Howdy everyone,
My name is Si, I thought I would come & join the forum & maybe share some of my own modelling from time to time. As you can maybe tell from my name that I model American prototypes, mainly the Milwaukee road but I also have a few other railroads from the mid west.
I model in S scale or 1.64 scale & have done for some time. I really like the size compared to HO or the larger O scales so it suits my kind of modelling. I like scenic, well detailed layouts & nothing too big neither. I've no layout at present, that's something I intend on starting in the new year. For now I'm weathering, painting & detailing locos, cars of various types & my most recent project has been a very well weathered car repair shed.
Look forward to joining in,
Si

Welcome Si.
I'd like to see that. Post some pics!MilwaukeeRoad wrote:

Show us your F7, pretty please. Most UK enthusiasts will be totally unaware of this machine, the fastest steam loco in the world on the evidence of the schedules it made possible.

Now for something very different !!
I like that idea.
Looking forward to workings in a non-popular scale.

Remember ... I know nothing about railways.
