Catching up with this thread, I feel you might write a supplement to Richard Ballantine's famed book: 'Integrating the bicycle storage with other interests'.

Ah, I’m not familiar with that!

With storage in mind though, and space management, here are a couple of pictures showing a more overall view of the room.. I’ve just been in there tinkering cutting some thin board to put backdrops behind the bridges across the doorways..
