Hello Topper

Welcome to the forum from another Lancastrian.

You say that you are still learning, I think in reality no matter how long we have been modelling we are still all learning in one way or another.

I'm not quite clear on protocol here, but I am a Farnworth (Bolton) Lad, whose mothers mother came from Dublin, although I was raised in Western Australia and now live in Bonavista Newfoundland.

So at least the climate is the same ...

Welcome.

Well, well, well.
I have no memory of Little Hutton because I left Farnworth when i was six days old, to go home to wherever my mother lived at that time, thence to Stockport, Denton, Goodshaw, before escaping (aged ten) to The Yilgarn shire in Western Australia.
My neice, Ann, drove me to ?Townley Hospital? in 2005. We parked in the road and I stared at a random window as if THAT was where I spent the first days of my life ...
Cheers, Chris

Hi
6 days old is too young to remember :D My grandfather was killed in the 1st world war and my grandmother was quick to married a solider stationed in Dublin and moved to Manchester, my mother couldnt fit in and was sent to live with an uncle back in Dublin.
