Scale3D - Figures.
I've just ordered a set of figures from Scale3D.
I haven't tried the company's products before and on finding some seated, legless (not the drunk kind ) bus /train figures I thought I'd take the plunge.
They will arrive unpainted and I'll compare them to the Hornby and Bachmann seated figures I have.
For £6.99 for 30 figures I think they could be a bargain.
I'll add another post once they arrive and I've had a chance to look over them.

Their stuff looks good, but not yet tried. Modelu have said they are now prepared to sell the files only so people can print their own... I really hope they have copy protection built in somehow...

From the USA. I have ordered and received a bunch of their OO figures. Safe arrival, well packed and actually quite satisfactory. And, far less costly than ModelU. I'll be buying more. Only complaint is somewhat complex website. Check carefully - that's how I found Hercule Poirot waiting for Capt. Hastings to show up. Lots of modern figures - e.g., biker gang, mods & rockers and an unusual collection of female figures !

Did anyone spot the 3D print of Simon K at the end of this week's Hornby programme?
Growing old, can't avoid it. Growing up, forget it!

Re: Scale3D - Figures.
My figures arrive and they are very good. No lines on them that some 3d printers can cause.
Definitely comparable to the big manufacturers figures.
Quite a novelty and a first for me, having to break them off their 3d printed sprues seeing as I don't own a 3d printer.
Painting them is another job added to the list.
Thanks

Re: Scale3D - Figures.
You don't "break off" the sprues. Dip the figure in cup-of-tea hot water 10-20 seconds and the sprues "peel" off easily.

That’s intriguing George
Once upon a time I built a model railway in the loft. Now I dabble on much smaller baseboards.
