Churchward Toplight 48' London commuter stock
That rarest of rare things in RTR OO, coaches of genuinely pre-group design, a very logical choice to go with their 61xx Prairie Tank which took fixed formation sets of 6 of these in and out of London. I expect a fair number of those with westward leanings will find a place for these far away from where they operated, as the relatively short length of these coaches will make a compact train.

Perhaps more helpfully for the general GWR modeller, in the smallprint Dapol also announced they were working on releasing the much more widespread corridor toplights as well.

Another business recently 'ducked out' of these regularly requested vehicles, on the grounds that the variation as built, and then as much modified throughout their service life, made them a minefield. Hopefully Dapol will find they sell 'whatever', sufficient purchasers considering that something is better than nothing.flying scotsman123 wrote:... They will go well with the Heljan Metropolitan Bo Bo electric loco as well as the 61xx. But, where will they be made?

Anyone prepared to bet against 'China'? Unless Dapol are relocatiing to the next low cost manufacturing locations, such as Vietnam (Roco have an operation there).
